Operation of peripheral pumps

Peripheral pumps operate by means of a rotor with vanes that rotates inside a pumping chamber.

The fluid is thus captured and set in motion, undergoing a series of accelerations that progressively increase its pressure. This mechanism allows for high output pressures even with relatively low flow rates, making peripheral pumps particularly suitable for systems requiring constant pressure and stable operation.

The main advantages of these pumps include:

  • High head with low flow rate, ideal for specific pressurization applications.
  • Compact size, making them easy to integrate into systems with limited space.
  • Quiet operation, also suitable for environments where noise must be minimized.
  • Low maintenance, thanks to a durable construction and the absence of quickly wearing components.
