Rotary vane pumps belong to the category of volumetric pumps. Their operation is based on an eccentric rotor that rotates inside a cylindrical chamber.
The rotor is equipped with sliding blades that adapt to the internal walls thanks to centrifugal force or the action of springs.
During rotation, the vanes create variable volume chambers that suck the fluid from one side and compress it towards the outlet.
