Designed for the safe and reliable control of gas flow in domestic, commercial and industrial plants, these solenoid valves are used in combustion systems and in applications where it is necessary to interrupt or regulate the passage of gas. They are an essential component to ensure the safety of the entire system
Gas solenoid valves operate according to the electromechanical principle of solenoid activation.
When the coil receives an electric impulse, it generates a magnetic field that actuates an internal shutter, opening or closing the passage of gas.
ODE mainly offers normally closed (NC) models, which guarantee maximum safety: in the absence of power, the valve remains closed, preventing the passage of gas.
The ODE gas solenoid valves can be direct-acting or servo-piloted, depending on the pressure and flow rate required. They are designed to operate with low power consumption and very fast response times, essential factors in plants where the speed of intervention is decisive.
EN 161:
regulates the requirements for gas safety valves, in particular automatic shut-off solenoid valves.
Regulation (EU) 2016/426 (Gar):
concerns gas appliances and ensures that each component complies with European safety standards.
EMC Directive:
verifies the electromagnetic compatibility of devices, for safe operation even in complex environments.
RoHS and REACH:
environmental protection and health, with limits on the use of hazardous substances in materials.
