An effective solution for controlling critical, contaminable or viscous fluids, where it is essential to avoid direct contact between the fluid and the valve body. Thanks to the tube pinch technology, the only element in contact with the fluid is the tube itself, thus ensuring maximum hygiene and compatibility with a wide range of applications.
Pinch solenoid valves work according to a simple but effective principle: a solenoid controls a mechanism that clamps (pinches) a stretch of flexible tube to interrupt or allow the passage of fluid.
When the coil is stressed, the system acts mechanically by compressing the tube, occluding it and stopping the flow. Upon release, the tube returns to its original shape and the fluid can flow freely.
This type of solenoid valve completely eliminates the need for internal seals or direct contacts between fluid and metal components, drastically reducing the risk of contamination, facilitating sterilisation and simplifying maintenance.
Medical and biomedical:
for the control of sterile liquids, blood, intravenous solutions or chemical reagents in hospital equipment and diagnostic laboratories.
Pharmaceutical:
management of sensitive fluids in dosing, filling and analysis processes, without risk of contamination.
Chemical and laboratory analysis:
precise handling of samples and reagents in controlled environments.
Vending machines and beverages:
hygienic control of food liquids, syrups or additives, with easily replaceable tubes.
Dialysis machines:
safe and sterile control of blood flow and dialysis solutions.
Systems for abrasive or viscous fluids:
when the wear of metal components would be critical, the tube becomes the only element subject to replacement.
